Speaking Truths About Sex, Disability, and Stigma
With over 20 years of experience, I offer thoughtful, inclusive presentations that bring honesty, warmth, and real-world insight to conversations about sex, chronic illness, and marginalized identities.
SEX EDUCATER
Long before I became a therapist, I worked in HIV education and advocacy. For over 20 years, I’ve spoken publicly about HIV, stigma, and sexual health. This work continues to shape how I show up in this field.
As a sex educator, I support people in navigating the complex, beautiful, and sometimes messy parts of their sexual lives. I offer education that’s inclusive, honest, and rooted in real-life experience.
I’m especially passionate about bringing conversations about chronic illness, disability, and HIV into the open. These topics are often left out of the mainstream, but they matter deeply. Everyone deserves access to information, pleasure, and connection…whatever body or life they’re living in.
In addition to working with clients, I also provide education and consultation for other therapists who want to grow in their ability to talk about the intersections of sex and disability, chronic illness, or HIV in their clinical work. I’m also a member of the Sex and Disability Special Interest Group (SIG) with AASECT, which helps guide and inspire my ongoing learning in this area.
I’m available for workshops, trainings, and speaking engagements - whether you’re a community group, professional audience, or clinical team. If you’re looking for someone who speaks with clarity, warmth, and lived experience, feel free to reach out.
