Meet Kelly Hill

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor

As someone who lives with a chronic condition and is the caregiver of a young adult who is significantly impacted by their developmental disability, I understand the emotional weight of navigating systems that often don’t make space for us. I also know that our stories are more than just struggle—they hold moments of connection, identity, and possibility.

These lived experiences, along with a consideration of my privileged identities, inform my work and my commitment to social justice.

I approach our work together with empathy, compassion, and authenticity

I have 16 years of working in social services prior to going into private practice. For six of those years I worked in community mental health agency & medical settings. In addition, I have a long history of involvement with the HIV community where I’ve spent many years working with and supporting folks living with HIV. I’m also a trained death doula, which has deepened my understanding of grief, endings, and life transitions. Lastly, as a caregiver, I understand the caregiving role & the toll it can take on one’s overall well-being and sense of identity.

My priority is to understand your needs & how I can best support you

As a strengths-based and existential therapist, I believe in honoring your lived experience while helping you uncover the resilience and meaning already within you. My approach is intuitive and relational—I meet you where you are, without judgment, and we explore what healing, growth, and self-understanding can look like for you. I believe we heal in connection with others and when we are in alignment with our authentic selves. It can be easy to think that you need to prove yourself and your worth when faced with multiple barriers in life, but that constant proving becomes exhausting over time. I can help you experience a more empowered and liberated life.

I am rooted in harm reduction / disability justice / anti-oppression / anti-racism

Understanding the impacts of systemic oppression, trauma, & stigma on our individual experience of self is critical.
Through my practice I hope to offer you a space that feels safe & non-judgmental.
Here you are able to reduce feelings of shame and increase self-esteem.

Relationship & Sex Therapy

Are you navigating changes in intimacy, desire, or self-perception due to chronic illness? Maybe you’re neurodivergent and sensory sensitivities make physical touch complicated. You’re not alone.

Our relationships and sense of self can shift in ways we never expected. Maybe your body feels different, your needs have changed, or communication with your partner(s) feels harder than it used to. Desire may feel distant, or intimacy might feel complicated in ways that are hard to put into words. These experiences can be isolating, but they don’t have to be.

Sex and relationships should feel like places of connection, not stress or confusion. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way and find ways to build closeness, pleasure, and understanding…on your terms. There’s no one right way to experience intimacy, and you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Wherever you are in your journey, you deserve support that meets you with care, not judgment.

This group is a safe space for neurodivergent women to discuss the challenges of navigating neurodivergence in a neurotypical world, share resources, and learn new skills. There is healing power in peer support and groups can be excellent way to fill in the gaps in care. Some topics to be discussed: relationships, shame, imposter syndrome, work life, and executive functioning.

Supervision

Three people sitting at a wooden table with laptops, laughing and interacting. There are notebooks and a drink on the table.

I am a Washington State approved clinical supervisor. I offer supervision to associate level clinicians accruing direct client hours.

I enjoy serving folks from working class backgrounds and first generation college students in this work. Also those living with chronic illness and disability.

You may alternately use your HSA or FSA card to pay for therapy. This is pre-tax income.

good faith estimate

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and facilities are required to provide individuals who do not have health insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the anticipated bill for medical items and services upon request or at the time of scheduling. This is called a “Good Faith Estimate.”

Note: This does not currently apply to any clients who are using insurance benefits, including "out of network benefits” (i.e., submitting superbills to insurance for reimbursement).

Clients have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” which outlines the total expected cost of services. The Good Faith Estimate works to show the cost of services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created.

The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur and will be provided a new "Good Faith Estimate" should this occur. If this happens, federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill if you and your therapist have not previously talked about the change and you have not been given an updated good faith estimate.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” at least 1 business day before your service. You can also ask your provider, and any other provider you choose, for a “Good Faith Estimate” before you schedule service.

Be sure to save a copy of your “Good Faith Estimate.” For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.

** I live in a disabled household and run on crip time. This means my email response time may be 3-4 days. “crip time” is a disability community phrase of sustainability that disrupts and challenges ableist expectations of productivity, time, and being. As disabled people we move at a different pace - your grace and understanding are appreciated.
